The project involves organizing the 5th Bioanalytical Nanotechnology School (BANT School), marking its 15th anniversary, in Mozambique.
The initiative aims to strengthen local capacities in diagnostics and bioanalysis through a training school focused on techniques that can be implemented in settings with limited technical and financial resources. The programme will prioritize low-cost methodologies, microscale chemistry, portable instrumentation, chemical sensors and diagnostic tools aligned with the REASSURED principles and the One Health perspective.
The initiative builds on the BANT School’s well-established track record and follows a scientific solidarity approach. It seeks to facilitate access to reliable analytical information outside centralized laboratories and to promote the continuity of academic and scientific cooperation with institutions in the partner country.
This project is funded by Fons de Solidaritat de la UAB 2026 Convocatòria XLIII
